Yeti Again!

One little Yeti showed up late, but I decided not to hold it against him, after all, he had to travel a long way. (Apparently, all the way from Santa Monica, CA, which, if you know the freeways here, you know takes forever!) He was rescued from his snowy domain, where he was cold and lonely, and brought to CA by the Creature Co-Op. He is there now, waiting for YOU. He has the perfect day planned, the two of you eating snow-cones together watching Man vs Wild... What could be better?!

Bingo Clem Monster!

What is a Bingo Clem? I didn't know either, but I must say, it didn't stop me from wanting to bring him home! You can go to Shawnimals like I did, and find out all about a whole world of creatures heretofore unknown! (I just wanted to say "heretofore"!) Go to Shawnimals and explore! P.S. They also have really cute character avatars in their free download section! Fun!

Yeti Weekend Continues!

This beautiful Yeti is from Lucy Ravenscar and if you have hand-eye coordination and patience (sadly, I have neither) you can also buy a pattern to make one yourself! I will just have to buy him! The Yeti painting is from Pigdogonline . It is an original (acrylic on canvas). Thank heavens for Etsy! Imagine trying to find a Yeti painting without Etsy! How would you ever decorate? Life would be sad. But, as usual, I digress! So, onward! Our next Yeti friend is Betty the Yeti from Plants & Animals, and the oh so handy (and cute!) Yeti pocket mirror is from Scientific Culture.
What a great weekend! I'm sad it's over. Can anything ever top Yeti weekend? I don't know, but I've been told that Bigfoot/Sasquatch weekend is a possibility! So look out!

Yeti Weekend (part two!)

We have a fabulous collection of Yetis for you today! I love this Yeti key chain by Mochikaka. The magnificent Red Eyed Yeti is from The Jae Bird and the Blue Faced, Ornament Loving Yeti is from Plushroom Soup. Hettie the little girl Yeti is from Bees Wiggle Shoppee.
So I guess what we have learned here today, is that people who have cool Yeti's for sale, name their shops interesting names! Coincidence? I think not!

Yeti Weekend!

We promised you Yetis, and we are delivering! The first Yeti for your weekend is a fine example of the species, from our friends at Chuka (I pretty much want everything Chuka has ever made!) Next up, a serious little Yeti from Sweet and Sour Goodies shop (I have heard that marshmallows will turn his frown upside down.) The cute Fluffy Horned Yeti is from SnowPlush, and we end today's Yeti Fest with a very rare Brown Yeti from HanMattan. Now that wasn't so abominable was it?!

Horned Monsters!

These guys from Cutesy but not Cutesy might be trouble! I know, I know, they don't look like trouble, and you read their stories and they don't sound like trouble. What you don't understand is that number one, I live with Roland, and number two, these guys have that sweet face that I am such a sucker for. When you put those two things together, THAT SPELLS TROUBLE! Imagine the mischief Roland could create, sending these guys out to distract me with their innocent little faces. What happens when I catch them sneaking beer for him, how could I ever get mad? This may be too much for one human to handle. I'm going to have to consult with Cutesy but not Cutesy for advice, before I end up having to call the "Monster Whisperer" out to my home!

Bright Monsters!

These bright guys from Sew Whimsy Creations made me really happy today! I love their cheerful faces and their one big tooth (and as you all know, I have this thing for the color orange!) I wonder if that tooth keeps growing like a bunny's? I may need special chew toys. You know, I should probably do a series on monster tooth care. After all, you can't have your monster's tooth growing too long or (god forbid!) falling out of it's head! Luckily Sew Whimsy Creations has all the info you need for these particular specimen (specimens?) and I'll get back to you on the rest!

Monster Outfits!

If we lived in a perfect world, I would make a living looking at, and collecting monsters, and THIS IS WHAT I WOULD WEAR TO WORK!! Every day. My new work clothes are from Bang Bang Crash where they call them "Halloween Costumes" for some reason...

Monster Art Three Ways!

I really like these monsters from Art By Kellie. If you like them too, you have three options. A really cute birthday card, a signed 6x9 print, or a set of three art blocks you could hang on the wall or stack on my desk, I mean, YOUR desk! That's right, I do this all for you. Don't even act like this blog is one giant wish list for me!

Caterpillar, Zooplankton, and Beetle Creatures!

These caterpillar creatures from Freedom Rainbow are so sweet! I think I will buy them, put magnets on the back of them, and put them on my fridge. Then I can see their lovely faces ten times a day (at least!)

Bunny Monsters!

Well, it appears the Zombie swarm has subsided (for now, I'm sure they will be back!) It was fun focusing on the "classic" monsters though, so I thought I'd continue today with a Vampire and a Yeti From Woolykins. I think you will notice that these guys have evolved a bit. Bunny monsters have become more and more common and I can only theorize that bunnies must be particularly susceptible to becoming monsters, and, you know how they breed... In fact, I'm surprised we are not completely overrun! Good thing they are cute, the Bunny Monster Apocalypse is probably looming!

You know, this Yeti bunny gives me an idea. Wait for it... Yes! Yeti Weekend! I can't say when, but keep your eyes peeled, 'cuz it's coming!

Zombie Attack day eight!

Now all the cases have become zombies! The Zombie bunny case, by Birdona Fern Studio will hold your zombie phone and gear. While the second Zombie case, by Kim Dot will eat your ipod classic and then play whatever songs you wish, adding the word "braiiins" to every chorus!

Zombie Attack day seven!

Dear diary, the attack continues here at ionlylikemonsters. We are running low on supplies, and now our last muffin has become a Zombie! I don't know how much longer we can hold out. If anyone finds this, go directly to She Lost It, where the (muffin) outbreak began... The answers must be there!

Zombie Attack day six!

These Zombies from Kitty Pink Stars each have a very interesting story that really highlights the fact that there are many roads to becoming a Zombie, and that you really shouldn't assume that all Zombies are alike. I myself, have been guilty of this, and I think I have learned a valuable lesson today. Thank you, Kitty Pink Stars for this chance to learn and grow.

Zombie Attack day five!

This Zombie key chain from Sassy Lassie will steal your heart! hahahaha! Oh, errm, sorry, I'll try not to do that again. I just started channeling my father for a second there. Jeez, how embarrassing!

Zombie Week!

Ha ha! Zombie Week has come to pass, just as I predicted! I'm sorry, but there was nothing I could do, there were just too many cute zombies for me to resist!
For example, Morton The Mushroom Zombie from House of Zombies. Don't act like YOU could have resisted his charms! Just look at him! Plus, his whole family is good looking! You really need to go to House of Zombies and check them all out!

Zombie Weekend continues!

AHHHHHHHH! Zombie Tea Bag and Coffee Cup! Is no source of caffeine safe?! I guess I still have my Go Girl energy drink, but for how long? Go to Shevon + Nacho to get these Zombies, but for God's sake, be careful!

Zombie Weekend (part two!)

Welcome back to Zombie weekend! I have to say, half the fun of these Zombies are their descriptions on the sites. If you are ever feeling blue, I highly recommend searching Etsy for "plush zombies" and reading the descriptions for an hour or so. I was going to say that it's cheaper than therapy, but if you are anything like me, you would probably buy them all, and then it would cost about the same! Either way, I guarantee it will cheer you up!

Todays crew are particularly funny, starting with handsome Horace the Zombie who comes to us from Firebongo. The unique Zombie Owl (eating brains) was created by
Cotton Candy Girl.
The hilarious Blue needle felted Zombie Bunny is from NJ's Emporium and the somberly cute Grey Zombie Bunny is from Stringfellow Art's Bunnique Plushies.

Zombie Weekend!

After Cthulhu weekend went so well, the Zombies started clamoring for their own weekend, and since I can only take so much groaning and scratching at my windows, I quickly gave in. Zombies have really hit the big time, there are so many amazing zombies out there! After exhaustive research, I decided to make it a long weekend, but I must warn you, this appears to have the potential to become Zombie Week, so be sure to stay tuned!

Our first brain eating pal is from Amy L. Dice at Mad Crafter, what a cutie! He can eat my brain anytime! Next up, A pink Zombie guy from Gush 4 Plush who appears to need a hug. In case this was making you hungry, we also have a Zombie Cupcake and Pop-tart team from RubbishTees. Lastly, we have a terrifying lime green Zombie Bunny from Twisted Shangrila for you to admire! Great, aren't they? Just wait 'till you see what's in store for you tomorrow!

Monster Friends! See them all in the older posts!
