Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Once again it is time to let the artist do the talking! Here is Le Chat Noir Studios' description of this here Cthulhu:

"To his followers, Cthulhu is one of the Great Elder Gods. He waits in the void between our world and his waiting for his Earthly minions to call him into our world. For him and the other Gods, the party has yet to begin.

To me, he is 8 inches or 20.32 cm tall, turquoise, and soft and cuddly. He is made of plush and embellished with black vinyl and yellow plush. His padded metal armature is covered with fabrics by hand sewing the pieces in place with quilting thread. All of his tentacles are movable so he can be displayed in different positions. His big yellow eyes are hand cast resin.

He also has an artistic side and enjoys decorating as shown by the lovely skull garland destined for the perfect spot in his grotto.....and he prefers to be called by his nickname Chas."

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Since anything I have to say about dice bags will just get me into trouble with my D&D loving friends, I'm going to let Bonsai Victor from Gomezvi handle this one for me!

" I love Cthulhu! I've created a unique, hand made felt dice bag inspired by the extreme horror that is Cthulhu. But be warned, the very knowledge of the existence of Cthulhu is enough to make men mad. The madness has already begun, for I forgot to include wings. Oh the horror!

Painstakingly hand crafted and hand made by me from felt, fluff, and the biggest safety eyes I could find! Check out that stitching. Totally hand stitched using contrasting black thread to highlight the sheer amount stitching that went in to create this bag. No sewing machine was used, all 100% hand stitched.

This particular Octopus (Cthulhu) Dice Bag was created with a larger inside bag and less fluff. Although this one is the same size as my more fluffy octopus dice bag, it will hold more. How much it will hold, I don't know."

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Today's terrifying 'lu is from Lady Lilliput Creations! You can order him or purchase a pattern from the Lady and make your own. Then, after the very last stitch stand up and yell, "It's ALIVEEEEE!!!!!" I know I've mentioned this before, (this IS what I do after every needle felted creation.) but I swear, it NEVER gets old!

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Cthulhu week has been extended by popular demand! So, with apologies to those of you who don't like cthulhu... Oh wait, never mind, you don't exist! Well then, on with the festivities! Today's stunning cthulhu beauty was found at the Crochet Lunch Shop where she waits, batting her eyes, ready to add a little "feminine mystique" to the cthulhu mythos!

Cthulhu Week!

Here is another deceptively friendly looking cthulhu, this time from Sew Leslie Crafts, but do not be taken in by his innocent appearance! He is pure malevolence and terror, I tell you!
