Pie Creature!

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who are celebrating! Even if it is not your country's traditional day of giving thanks, I know that if you are anything like me, you give thanks everyday for PIE! This particular little pie pal (and tin!) can be found at Identical SAM where all the pie is adorable and calorie free!

Pudgenstein and his lovely Bride!

Pudgenstein and Bride have already been painstakingly assembled by Camp & Co. for your enjoyment, but if you are a bit of a mad scientist yourself, you can also purchase the diabolical directions (Camp & Co calls it a "knitting pattern," whatever that means...) and set up a lab to create your very own monstrous pair at home!!!

Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween, today I am happy to present the most frightening, ferocious, and deadly Halloween creatures I have ever encountered, Too Cute's terrifying twosome! You can view them in relative safety here, or you can buy the pattern at Too Cute! and make them yourself, but only if you dare! Bwahahahaha!

The Naked Alpaca Creatures!

Think you have the mad skills to create this fellow from The Naked Alpaca? Then here's what you need to know, straight from the alpaca's mouth:

"You want to make your own sweet Monster, but don't want to invest in tons of materials and have leftovers lying around?
This is just for you. You get a set of all the things you need to make your very own Monster Lutz, except for tools.
Lutz is a cheeky little monster with lots of energy, just waiting for you to knit him."

You can also buy just the pattern, or if you are completely hopeless at knitting like I am, you

can convo The Naked Alpaca to knit one for you!

Fresh Stitches

These delightful monsters were found at
Fresh Stitches, your new amigurumi headquarters! Stop by and pick up some patterns, kits, or creatures. They are guaranteed to keep you busy and/or entertained (depending on your level of skill!)

Cheezombie Fireworks Creatures!!

Today is the Fourth of July here in the United States, so to celebrate we are posting Cheezombie's Punky and KaBoom! Firecracker creatures! If you don't live in the USA, you may never know the joy of having a holiday that has been traditionally celebrated with fireworks, that you can no longer celebrate with fireworks, because they are illegal in your town! Woohoo!

Bunny, Monster!

Today, instead of a regular bunny monster, we have a monster with a bunny from Bombastitch! Bombastitch has a lot of great patterns, but I am especially enamored of the Godzilla ones! I don't know how to cross stitch but I know that my mentor in all things crafty, hillyhill does, so I shall buy this pattern and ask her to teach me how, when she is not busy with her adorable baby!

Mr Fox Patterns!

If you have been playing along at home, you know that I try not to just post the shop's description of the creature, since I assume you can go read that yourself. HOWEVER, sometimes the description is so awesome that I cannot let you miss out, in case you don't have the time to click over! This is one of those times, so enjoy! Mr Fox Amigurumi Toy Crochet Patterns by Maffers sez:

"The Onklid (Latin Pan Quercus) is a highly elusive primate, known for representing a one-member ecosystem. The Onklid harvests the ripe, juicy fruits that grow from its head and as such lives completely independently of all other species. Many people have tried to harvest the fruits for themselves, believing that their consumption provides infinite wisdom. However, the Onklid is highly defensive and can exhibit extraordinary power and strength when required. There are, however, methods of obtaining the fruits; it is rumoured that all Onklids will allow a person to take a basket of fruit in return for a six-pack of Special Brew."

See what I mean? You really should take the time to read them all the creatures' descriptions! I promise you won't regret it!
