Pie Creature!

Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who are celebrating! Even if it is not your country's traditional day of giving thanks, I know that if you are anything like me, you give thanks everyday for PIE! This particular little pie pal (and tin!) can be found at Identical SAM where all the pie is adorable and calorie free!

Apple Pal!

Since the season of eating too much has officially begun, Little apple from Bubblegum Belles is here to remind you that you like fruit too! No, it's true, you do! When you remember to walk away from the cookies, candy, cake, and pie, you really do enjoy a yummy piece of fruit. OK, now all I have to do is print this post out, and put it on my fridge. Let's hope it works!

Whimsy Loves Wit Creatures!

Thanksgiving Week is here and that means FOOD!  Delicious comfort food and a day off, what could be better? In celebration of giving thanks for food with food, I think I'll post food! My first delicious course is from Whimsy Loves Wit. Today I'm sticking with the traditional Thanksgiving pie, turkey leg, pretzel, and bacon cheeseburger friends. Oh, is that not your customary spread? I thought for sure that was what everyone had on TG Day. Weird! I guess I may have to do a little more research on this...

Cthulhu!

We happened upon this little guy at Odd Haus! Isn't he darling? I just don't know why everyone is so afraid of him! Maybe the small print on Odd Haus's listing will fill us in:

"Everyone's favorite Elder God is here! Cthulhu only rises once in a great while when the planets are right, but now you can have him year round in your very own home. Just be careful, we all know how "maddening" he can be sometimes
Not only is he cute, green, and plushy, but his tentacles are fully pose-able too!"

Snooter-Doots Creatures!

I have never been a big fan of Gnomes, they never seemed entirely trustworthy to me, and what are they doing out in my garden exactly? BUT, these guys from Snooter-Doots have won me over! They have the traditional Snooter-Doots wonky eyes, which immediately put me at ease, and then after we got to chatting, all my prejudices just fell away. I'd welcome these guys to my home any day! Go check them out and see if you don't feel the same!

Cheezombie Fireworks Creatures!!

Today is the Fourth of July here in the United States, so to celebrate we are posting Cheezombie's Punky and KaBoom! Firecracker creatures! If you don't live in the USA, you may never know the joy of having a holiday that has been traditionally celebrated with fireworks, that you can no longer celebrate with fireworks, because they are illegal in your town! Woohoo!

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

And so Cthulhu Week (part II) comes to and end, not with a bang but with a SUPER SOFT AND FUZZY CTHULHU! Woo Hoo! This little guy is from the Baron de Labry Emporium and he really is the sweetest (dangerous) cutest (evil) cthulhu yet! Go see!

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Today's terrifying 'lu is from Lady Lilliput Creations! You can order him or purchase a pattern from the Lady and make your own. Then, after the very last stitch stand up and yell, "It's ALIVEEEEE!!!!!" I know I've mentioned this before, (this IS what I do after every needle felted creation.) but I swear, it NEVER gets old!

Cthulhu Week (Part II)

Cthulhu week has been extended by popular demand! So, with apologies to those of you who don't like cthulhu... Oh wait, never mind, you don't exist! Well then, on with the festivities! Today's stunning cthulhu beauty was found at the Crochet Lunch Shop where she waits, batting her eyes, ready to add a little "feminine mystique" to the cthulhu mythos!

Emily's Island Denizens

I was recently called a Ceph-head, (which I thought was the greatest term in the world!) regarding my great love of, and obsession with, the cephalopod species! I was also informed that there are many, many, of us out there. So in honor of whomever invented this fabulous new descriptor, I present Emily's Island's cephaplods! They are majestic and mysterious, just like their cousins that live in the sea, but these guys have the distinct advantage of being machine washable! Woo Hoo!

Bunnymonster Week!

As I have mentioned before, Bunnymonsters come in every imaginable shape, size, and type! Those of us who have been studying the phenomenon, believe this has to do with their ability to, well, "breed like rabbits!" These terrors from Imaginary Beings are a good example of the "cubed" Bunnymonster Hybrid that you will need to watch out for! Experts advise befriending them by use of square carrots if possible! Good luck!

These friendly cephalopods were found at Green Dogs and Things where you can get one (or ten!) in the color of your choice!

Slug Monsters!

If I went out to my "so-called" garden and found these guys, I might enjoy gardening a lot more! Slacula, Devil Slug, Punkin Slug, and the wee Garden Slug Family look like a great deal more fun than the my local Long Beach variant! Get yours at Cheezombie where you can also find knit and crochet amigurumi patterns, for those of you with the mad skills!

Phoenix Knits Creatures!

These wonderful creatures come to us from Phoenix Knits. Those of you who can knit, can have the patterns e-mailed to you. You can knit them up, AND THEN, letting loose with your loudest, most evil laugh, finish by crying out "It's Aliveeeee!!!!" as you complete each one!

Well, that's how I would do it anyway...

Monster Friends! See them all in the older posts!
