Yeti Week!

The Tiniest Yeti (which should be a children's book, if it is not already!) comes to us from Made With Clay and Love! He is the perfect gift for loved ones who live in small spaces where a normal size Yeti just will not do! He is also a good option for a workplace Yeti, or as a (always popular) dashboard Yeti! He'll fit, and fit in, no matter what car they drive!

Yeti Week Continues!

Today we have an AAAAAAAAmazing Yeti from Dingogirl's Den, one of my very favorite shops! I live with a Purple People Eater from there, and the quality of the breeding is unsurpassed! Go see for yourself! You'll be hard-pressed to find more gentle, well-mannered monsters anywhere!

Yeti Week!

Once again the calender has rolled 'round to YETI WEEK! In my student days, the Yeti was always my favorite in crypto-zoology class. I'm sure they were yours too, since they are damn near irresistible! We begin this week's festivities with a Yeti pennant from Bishop Lennon Art, that shows the world that they are your choice as well! "It's Team Yeti for me!" it proudly states to all those Kraken, and Sasquatch fans! So fly it with pride, and don't forget to check out the other "indy" pennants at Bishop Lennon Art as well, or request your favorite! Loch Ness Monster? Chupacabra?

Yay! Yeti's!

Hooray!
It's Yeti season again! These sweet Snowflake Yeti are from Octokitty. If you are a first time Yeti owner, Snowflake Yeti are a great choice to "get your feet wet" with, as they are the smallest and gentlest of the Yeti breeds. They are also known to be very good with children! If you are interested, contact Denn Rodriguez at Octokitty, she is the real expert on them!

Sebastien Millon's Shop

I recently purchased this first print from Sebastien Millon's Shop to put in my kitchen, as a reminder to my guests! These other prints and cards seem equally important to have around. You never know whose life they may save!

My Little Zombie Creatures!

In the market for a new zombie pal? How about this stunning Zombie Cthulhu from My Little Zombie? Here is what they have to say about him:

"What unspeakable lovecraftian horror is this? Why it's sweet little Zombie Cthulu!! I don't know how he died, but I promise there was a pretty epic battle involved. One does not kill the gods easily... But here he is for you to squish and squeeze and love forever!"

AND (although it seems impossible!) If Cthulhu is not your type, My Little Zombie has many other zombie friends for you to choose from as well!

My Buddles Creatures!

I was at a craft show recently with one of my best pals (doing "research" of course!) when I stumbled upon the charming My Buddles shop! I had been the feeling a bit blue and my friend bought me a pillow with "We are all the same height" design. It definitely cheered me up and still does each time I see it in my front room! So after trying My Buddles for a couple of weeks now, I feel I can wholeheartedly recommend their products! They do everything they say and more! Go see for yourself!

Fluffy Flowers Creatures!

Wondering what to get that creature lover in your life? Fluffy Flowers is having a half-off sale, just in time for the holidaze! I particularly like the horns on this guy, and now, looking at my bookshelves I can also see that I am in dire need of a book worm and I expect your friends and relatives are too!

Sebold's Originals Creatures!

Some people want to meet movie stars, some people want to meet rock stars, some people want to meet authors, but I want to meet NEEDLE FELTERS! Meet them, pick their brains, and hopefully by being near them (through osmosis maybe?) absorb some of their talent! This is my dream, and when if comes to people I want to stalk, I mean, MEET, the mastermind behind Sebolds Originals tops my list! All you have to do is look at these amazing creatures to know why, and there are even MORE of them at the shop! Go see!

Unhinged Imaginings Monsters!

I found these cephalopodic creatures at Unhinged Imaginings. Unhinged Imaginings has other fascinating creatures as well, but you and I both know that as soon as I see tentacles, I can look no further! My heart swells, my vision narrows, and love blindness takes over! So, if you want to see their other creatures go ahead. I'll be right here, swooning over these guys if you need me!

Papercut Monsters!

These stunning creatures were found at Papercut Monsters. I am completely enamored with them, aren't you? Here are the details:
"Papercut Monsters are more than just a typical plush toy. They are Art prints that can be enjoyed in a whole new way. Papercut Monsters are excellent conversation pieces that help foster curiosity and creativity. These beasties are cute, quirky and sometimes a little coy. Each Papercut Monster:
Starts out its life as a paper collage before becoming a unique fabric friend. Has a rich visual texture thanks to the handmade illustrations of designer Joel Kadziolka. Is specially printed directly on linen-cotton canvas; no iron-ons. (Unlike fleece, which pills and loses its softness over time, this fabric only becomes softer.)
• Uses eco-friendly inks and printing processes
• Is stuffed with all new polyester.
• Stands about 16.5" tall and loves making new friends.
• Makes an excellent stuffed toy for even the most rambunctious children.
• Functions as an excellent home/office décor accent for children-at-heart.
• Is part of limited edition"

Fall Monsters!

As I discussed last year, winter light makes me depressed, so each year when the time change happens, I am forced to resort to my SAD lamp to ensure my survival until spring! Clearly, I was meant to hibernate, but for some reason my job continues throughout the winter and expects me to do the same! Geez!

Anyway, even though the fall season makes me worry about winter, fall light is so beautiful I still look forward to seeing it every year. Which brings me to these unbelievably gorgeous pictures (I know you were wondering if I would ever get to it!) by Andy Kehoe. They capture the light and the feeling of fall, and contain such mysterious creatures, that I want to crawl into the picture (with my SAD lamp, of course! It looks very dim there...)

Monster Friends! See them all in the older posts!
