Candy Corn Week CORNclusion!

Our final candy corn couple come to us from Bonjour Poupette! As you can see, they have that irresistible candy corn cuteness but what really sold me on them, was that it looks like they are preparing to engage in a bout of fisticuffs! The Fighting Candy Corns coming at ya! They will KNOCK YOU OUT, and leave you in a sugar coma!

Candy Corn Week Continues!

This awe-inspiring candy corn is by Andrew Bell and can be seen at the Stranger Factory Halloween Show if you happen to live in New Mexico. The rest of us can admire him (and his relatives!) from afar, via Andrew Bell's website!

The Corn Continues!

This slightly depressed candy corn is from Vintage Keepsake Trunk . Unfortunately, the only things known to cheer him up are Easter Marshmallow Peeps, so it looks like it's going to be a while before he cracks a smile. I hear it's worth the wait though, and luckily, he is quite handsome either way!

Candy Corn Week!

Candy Corn key chain from Softies By Rachel looks a little CORNcerned! (Ha!) He just needs a little reassurance that you only want to use him for decoration! He'll settle in just fine after that. I think these guys would look great hanging in a window, right next to your bonus non-candy corn, Black Cat Catfish Mermaid! Woohoo! Now that would be a Happy Halloween window indeed!

Candy Corn Week Continues!

This spooky corn from Cuddl with Me is all dressed up to go Trick-or-Treating! Or maybe he's in disguise to avoid being eaten! Either way, he's a lot better at getting his costume together than I am! I usually can't even think of the most basic, obvious costumes. I don't know how people do it, I just draw a big blank every year. Anyhoo, let's move on to your extra bonus non-candy corn plush! Today we have a pumpkin zombie monster magnet who is all ready to decorate your fridge or what-have-you, for Halloween! Watch out though, those ARE his brains coming out of his head!

Candy Corn Week Continues!

Today's festive fuzzy friends are from Plush Riot and, just like regular candy corn, I have a feeling one will not be enough! I'd purchase a couple, just to be on the safe side! Today your extra bonus non-candy plush is the super cool Punk Chick, who, while she may not be about Halloween per se, does fit in well with the color scheme...

Candy Corn Week!

Hooray! It's candy corn week here at iolm! I look forward to October all year long, just to see the newest candy corn creatures! Today I am pleased to begin our 2011 Candy Corn Tour, with these delicious fellows from Scrumptious Delight! However, as you all know, everything at Scrumptious Delight is amazing and wondrous, so I couldn't help but throw in a couple of non-candy corn creatures too. Enjoy!

Squirrel Momma Creatures!

Yesterday was so much fun that I decided to look up all my favorite shops, to see what they had cookin' for Halloween! I had just headed over to the world famous Squirrel Momma, when what to my wondering eyes should appear (oh, sorry, wrong holiday!) but party hat pumpkins and ghosts with bellybuttons and booties! I swear! I am incapable of making this up! Go see for yourself, they are truly delightful!

KittyPinkStars Creatures!

We hadn't been over to KittyPinkStars shop in a while, so Roland and I decided to check out what had blown into her garden lately. There had been a strong wind, and apparently it had deposited Halloween Pumpkin and Zombie puffs all over! What a mess! KittyPinkStars took them in, and as much as she loves them, she can't keep them all, so please go visit her shop and see if you can take a few off her (very busy) hands!

Flat Bonnie Bunnymonster!

If you have been reading this blog regularly, then you know all about the impending Bunnymonster Apocalypse, and you are well aware of the trouble that bunnymonsters cause, but did you know that some bunnymonsters also have a charitable side? No? Well then, let's have Adopt A Flat Bonnie fill you in:

"Flat Bonnie was created to bring awareness to the life of bunnies in shelters and rescue centers, many people do not know that there are buns ready for adoption at these places. Flat Bonnies are made for people who love BUNNIES! and for people who may want a real bun but are not ready to provide the proper care and finances needed to raise a real bun. When that person is ready for a real bun, Bonnies message is to adopt a bun from a local shelter or rescue center.
A portion of the sales will be donated to bunny rescue organizations.

We donate many of Flat Bonnies to Rabbit Rescue Centers too.
They sell the Flat Bonnies to raise money to care for the abandoned and abused buns in their care. If you buy Flat Bonnie at those rescue centers, 100% of the sales will go to the care of the bunnies."

SpiderBun is a super-limited special for Halloween 2011 edition, so get over to Adopt A Flat Bonnie now and order, order, order!

Cleody Skye Creatures!

Posture-wise,
I definitely identify with all the Slouchys from Cleody Skye Creations, but this one in particular has charmed his way into my heart. Here is what they have to say about him:

This handsome fellow has quite the voice! At first when he came through the portal in my closet, he was fairly quiet. I didn't think much of the fact that he's a monster, seeing as how it's getting closer to Halloween. My surprise was when he walked out of my closet, looked around, found a tall place to climb, and began singing his little heart out once he reached the top.
Ambassador Slouchy tells me that there are a whole race of Singing Monster Slouchies in the forests on their home planet. They fill the night with eerie, but beautiful sounds. Slouchies have been known to follow the sounds and be lost in the forests forever. But seeing this little guy's kind nature, I assume it's because they meet the friendly monsters and decide to never go back.
Adopt this little one to listen to his beautiful song!
